Royal Caste & Crewe

Alaine Alicia Laine Matheson as Princess Isabel de France
Alicia is an honors graduate of the Academy of the Performing Arts in Huntington Beach where she participated in countless play festivals and performed in Grease, The Pirates of Penzance, and Once Upon A Mattress. She has been performing with Masterpiece Mysteries for several years and many of her favorite roles have been created as part of their Whodunnits and Front & Centre scenechronous productions, including: Jenny in Stages, D.A. Gallo in Systematic Symptoms, the 'killer' in Ghost of the White Hart, and most recently, as Daphne Sterling in Cinicnnati Smith & The Tomb of Doom. In addition to acting, she sings in both choirs at her church; performs as a member of Otaku In Crime, an all-girl, 4-part harmony singing group which performs at various anime conventions; writes fiction and plays and draws when she has a break from college where she is studying music and digital arts.

Queen Beth Beth Titus as Queen Beatrice of England
Beth Titus has "trod the boards" in over 60 productions primarily playing big, boozy, bitchy broads. Some of her favorite roles were in such well known plays as Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Steel Magnolias, The Sisters Rosenweig, A Streetcar Named Desire, California Suite, Six Rms Riv Vu, The Man Who Came to Dinner, A Midsummer Night's Dream and many more. Her portrayal of an over-the-hill movie actress in Legends won her a Best Actress award.
Beth has also tried her hand in directing Norman, Is That You?, How the Other Half Loves, Cheaters and her own children's show, Visions of Sugar Plums which was produced locally and shown on cable TV. Beth feels fortunate to be a part of the Shenanigans Comedy Troup that was founded by tonight's King (Tom Hardy) and produces benefits for non-profit organizations. She has also recently developed a ventriloquist act as part of that group.
For the past several years, Beth has been a regular performer in interactive dinner theater murder mysteries presented in the Anaheim area with occasional bookings in Los Angeles and Solvang.
Beth is excited to be working in A Royal Wedding with this fine cast and talented writer/director. She loves to play dominating women such as Queen Beatrice. In fact, Beth portrayed a queen once before in the musical Once Upon a Mattress and relishes the opportunity to become a bitch once again.

(still the wrong Chris!) Christopher Lung as Prince Soren of England
Chris is a graduate of Principia college where he earned a degree in Music & Composition. Fair Claire Claire Broderick as Henrietta
Claire is happy to be part of A Royal Wedding, her second show with Masterpiece Mysteries following her show-stealing turn as Archana in Cincinnati Smith and the Tomb of Doom. Avid SoCal theater-goers might remember Claire as Corrine in Triumph of Love at UCLA, Velma in West Side Story at the Westminster Community Theater, or Connie in Good News at IVC. Really avid SoCal theater-goers might remember her from University High School in Irvine where she played Julie in Carousel and fell off Noah's Ark as Yonuh in Children of Eden . Claire has studied voice, dance and acting all her life with amazing teachers including John Hall, Gary Busby, Ellen Prince and Patricia Goeser. When Claire grows up she wants to be a real live responsible person.

This is his first performance with Masterpiece Mysteries, and his first paid acting job. Will Act for Money! Jody Bardin as Sir Paul, the Valiant
Jody Bardin is proud to be making his debut, and hopefully not final, appearance with Masterpiece Mysteries, even though this show isn't a mystery. How he got cast in this show is more of a mystery than anything else. He hails from a faraway kingdom called New Jersey where he performed in many productions. His quest to become a professional entertainer led him out to the kingdom of Los Angeles 4 years ago whereupon he has since joined the union called SAG. He has since performed in various films, TV shows, commercials, music videos and many other projects where, even if the pay is not so good, it is still a job. He may be most recognized for his role in an OutKast video where he sits and stares blankly into space. If you would like to see more of him, you could hire him through A Princess Party where he will come to your child's birthday party in various guises and entertain your child and their friends. He can also be seen at various times of the year perfoming as Henry David Thoreau in Franklin Canyon Park in the Hills of Beverly. When not performing, he enjoys sitting in traffic, deleting junk emails, collecting unemployment, and losing weight due to undernourishment. He would like to thank this great cast (and director) and dedicate this performance to LK.

Mailage Maile Walker as Crimea
Maile's been acting for as long as she could remember. Formerly a theatre major at Southern Oregon University, Maile has spent the past few years discovering Orange County theatre, behind the scenes as well as onstage. After a year long hiatus, Maile is thrilled to be a part of such a fabulous ensemble. She'd like to especially thank Claire, for dragging her to the audition. Enjoy the show!

Check out his new film! Michael Durack as Father Edmond
Mike began his acting career as a department store Santa Claus while on Christmas vacation during his junior year in college. Although he received a business degree from the University of Illinois and initially began a career as an accounting manager, his first love has always been acting. After acting in and directing several community theater productions in Chicago, he decided to leave the "security" of the corporate world to follow the dream. He has performed in films, commercials, musicals and stage plays in and around Los Angeles for the last nine years. Some of his stage play credits include Damn Yankees, The Fantasticks, Stalag 17, Chapter Two, Hamlet and most recently The Dining Room at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse earlier this year. His film roles include the evil Agent Nelson in the action film Con Games, and Larry, the homeless victim in Only in Hollywood, which won the Best Drama award at the 2002 New York Independent Film Festival. He is currently involved in co-producing and co-starring in the feature film Do You Love Me?, a romantic thriller due to be released next year. This is Mike's second production with Masterpiece Mysteries, having played the title role in Cincinnati Smith and the Tomb of Doom.

a royal cut-up Paul R. Burt as Scroop!
Paul is happy to be a part of the world premier of the show that is going to end the monopoly on Wedding theatre known as Tony Tina's wedding. He is also glad to break bread with all the wonderful memebers of the cast and audience, and even though he won't be found for the salad. "Let's take a bite from the turkey leg together" he says, "or whatever else we're having, just save me bite, O.K." Paul has been see through out the Orange County theatre scene. Most recently he played as Argon in The Imaginary Invalid , Baptista in Taming of the Shrew and in January won Huntington Beach Playhouses award for Best actor for his portrayal of the portly knight Sir John Falstaff in Henry IV part I. We could say more, but ahhh go read about Claire or Maile instead, they're far more interesting.

Hardy-har-har Tom Hardy as King Mahieu
Tom is the confessed originator of the comedy troop Shenanigans that has been delighting southland audiences for nearly 20 years. Perhaps you've seen him on "It's A Miracle," "The New Gong Show," "Dollars And Sense," "Talk Of The Town," "Touching Lives," or the new cable show "Thursday Night At The West End." He's done countless plays, is a writer, and is an award winning director. He's most noted for his crazy monologs and comedy roasts. Tom has been acting since he was 10 and has appeared on stage at Pasadena Playhouse, The John Anson Ford Theater, the Fairfax Festival, and the Northridge Earthquake Preparedess Fair. He loves the whole art of comedy and is thrilled to be the King in A Royal Wedding.
