A Royal Wedding
Premise: Ever at war with bitter envy, France & England prepare to finally unite as the prince and princess of each country marry. The royal couple's bliss would be assured other than the fact that the princess loves a demoted knight, the prince loves fashion, the King loves his wine and the Queen loves no one but herself. Add a sword fight, a jailbreak, an unexpected romatic twist and dangerous case of mistaken identity and you've got A Royal Wedding.
Setting: a fictional period in medieval history, presumably at a castle in England
Set Props: altar, wedding cake, tasting cups, foils with which to fight, wedding gifts and more
Additional Entertainment: Medieval 'round' singalong; optional processional with audience minstrels, participatory court dances, presentation of gifts to royal couple
